More Power To Our Girls!

Being a woman there are many roles and responsibilities to fulfill. As beautiful souls, they are also stunning creators of life. They are assertive and powerful, balancing their daily professional and personal lives. While they are considered the best homemakers, women are also resilient taskmasters.

So, this women’s day we thought of sharing some of the instances of work-life balance from our fellow women’s colleagues. Their passion stimulates us to multitask, stay determined, and achieve every milestone we dream of. No matter what the circumstances, women are the epitome of eternal strength and courage.

Hence, this women’s day let us celebrate and rejoice in their valour and unwavering enthusiasm with these inspirational stories shared by our women workforce.

1.Reema Damle

It has been a year since I joined the BNT family remotely during the second lockdown This was a testing period for me. Why? As a socially awkward person, I generally take a long time to get along with people, who don't like answering calls that I don't think are important. (No doubt, I am that person who keeps looking at the cell phone when it rings, and rather than returning the call, I simply message that I am busy and take the conversation on a chat) and also at the same time, I am that person who keeps making blunders (In my defense, I am trying to change that part and also not ashamed/guilty of it as everyone has their flaws).

However, when I joined BNT I was pretty worried about how well things work out. How my colleagues will treat me?

But for a surprise, it all turned out well. I consider myself lucky enough to have colleagues who are supportive, who have stood with me through my bad times, and who know how to have fun.

Yet, life is not a ‘bed of rises’. Just after joining in 3 months, due to some personal problems, I had to go on leave that got stretched to almost a month during my probation period. Again the testing waters were right in front of me. Yet, at that time also I got a lot of support from my team, especially my team lead, who helped me grow personally and professionally. I started to work more independently and now I have started to enjoy my work, feel more confident about it. Also, when I now receive calls I pick them up and talk to individuals. To an extent where I also call and start random conversations.

So this women’s day, I believe that women go through a lot of problems. They balance their personal and professional life efficiently, keeping a smile on their face no matter what. Some women are also leading a team successfully.

Thousands of such examples inspire a lot of people like us and motivate us to come out of our comfort zone. But at the same time, I also appreciate women who are homemakers, who like to handle/manage their home, and their family because it is their choice, who don't even get paid for it. Everyone, not only women, every human deserves respect no matter what. I feel women are excellent at managing, whether as a homemaker managing a home or as a woman who handles both personal and professional life, which also makes them great leaders.

Other kudos from my side or example of women being good leaders are the teachers in the school. If you go back in your school times most of your teachers were generally women (at least mine). So I would toto live in a time when many women become great leaders, which will eventually ensure that every woman has more respect and value.

On this note and day, I appreciate and share more power with all of you women and wish a very Happy Women's Day to all the lovely ladies out there!

As we all know we are here to celebrate the presence of women in society and to celebrate their achievements to celebrate International Women's Day. I have completed my Higher Secondary Education and then came to Pune for a bachelor's in Computer Applications. However, when I was in my second year of my Bachelor's COVID-19 came.

That moment changed my vision of life. That infantile girl now got seriously serious about what to do. Then after a few interviews, I started my career with BNT SOFT, as a Java Intern.

The initial days were difficult. With no idea about professional life, I had many questions in mind. Yet, as they say, not every struggle is for the bad. I got a chance to work with Sayali Kulkarni, ma'am. I learned a lot from her- how she manages the work with peace always, her calm and confident nature is a perfect example of women's power in the organization for me. I understand I have a lot to learn and I am positive my job will teach me more as well as I shall make full efforts for the growth of the company.

My message to all you women:

Never Give Up Girls !!!
No matter how tough life gets
You Are Stronger Than You Think !!!

Thanks to all the BNT SOFT family.

3.Shivangi Nigam

I have completed 1 year of experience in Jan 2022 in BNT-Soft.

The things that I have experienced with work-life balance, and managing my professional and personal life are - commitment, priority, and dedication.

It is very easy to say these words but trust me in practical life it takes time to maintain a work-life balance with commitment, priority, and dedication.

With the help of my manager, the understanding between each other has helped me to achieve a lot. As I was completely a fresher, her guidance has helped me learn a lot in my life.

There are various incidents where she has guided me in my life both professionally and personally, this day will be short to share every instance. Thus, I am sharing a small incident, earlier I used to ask questions to candidates about their joining with us but not in a manner that was beneficial for us. The time that we have to spend with them when they are on their notice period. But she told us, to ask questions, every piece of information is beneficial for us and through your experience, you will be able to judge whether they will join or not. She helped me with what type of questions and in what manner I had to ask.

Then I started asking questions which helped me to understand whether the candidate would join or not. One day, I was about to wrap up my office day. Yet, a task to make calls to candidates came up who were about to join us. That task I did on that day itself, I was able to give information and she had praised me.

All this has been a great learning experience and I believe I have and will learn more too.

“A strong woman knows she has strength enough for the journey, but a woman of strength knows it is in the journey where she will become strong.”

BNT and Team wish you all a Happy Women's Day to all you brave and happy women.
